SupportHow to place an orderFollow these four steps:
1. FindBrowse through our products using the A-Z of legal subjects in the left hand margin of each page. 2. SelectRead about any product you are interested in, look at the table of contents and check the price. When you've decided on a purchase, click the 'add to basket' button to put it into your shopping basket. You can then carry on shopping, and your selected items will be stored in your basket. Once you have selected everything you want, click the 'checkout' button in the right hand margin.

4. Take deliveryYou will receive an email confirming your order. Products that are in stock are normally dispatched on the next working day.
Is VAT included in the price of my order?VAT is included in the prices shown for forms and software titles on the Lawpack website. There is no VAT to be paid on Lawpack DIY kits or books, and this is reflected in the prices shown. However, for your convienience, we have shown the total VAT as a separate line.
What will I pay for delivery of my order?Deliveries are made by the Royal Mail First Class service. Rates are based on the total value of your order - the amount you will pay is shown below:
How long will it take for my order to arrive?If you place your order before midnight, we will dispatch it on the next working day. Royal Mail aims to deliver 90% of packages by the following morning. If your order has still not arrived after five working days please contact us. Please note that Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays, Bank Holidays or National Holidays. Please include these as non-working days when estimating delivery times.
My order hasn't arrived. What should I do?If you have placed an order and you think the delivery of your item(s) is overdue, please remember to allow five working days for delivery. Despite our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays in delivery. It may be worthwhile contacting your local postal sorting office as it's possible they have already tried to deliver your package, but were unable to. If you believe the delivery is seriously overdue, please contact us.
Can I return my order to you if something is wrong with it?Our 30 day guarantee allows you to return any purchase within 30 days of the date you received the item(s) for any reason, on the sole condition that the item is returned to us in original condition. We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. By law, you also have the right to cancel your order up to seven working days after the day following the delivery of the goods. If the goods have already been sent when you notify us about cancelling your order, you must return the goods and Lawpack will credit your credit or debit card with the price of the goods within 30 days, beginning with the day on which notice of cancellation was given.
Faulty goodsYou have the right to return a faulty product within a reasonable period of time. Please keep any warranty information that accompanies your product as this will be needed should there be a fault.
Goods damaged in transitIf your order from Lawpack has been damaged in transit, you may return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt for exchange.
Delivery chargesIf you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us. If you are cancelling your purchase under the statutory seven working days cooling-off period, we will refund the normal postage charge for the delivery of that item but we cannot refund any express or courier postage charge. You will be responsible for those charges and the costs of any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
I want to return my goods to you - what should I do?In order to process your refund efficiently, please follow these steps: Include a note detailing the reason for return. The note should include your order number, which can be found on the delivery/invoice note included with the delivery. If returning a faulty product please include a full description of the fault, as well as the order number. Wrap the item securely in its original packaging with all related material (such as licences, manuals and warranty cards). Send to the following address: We will e-mail you when we have processed your refund. We strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service, as we cannot refund purchases unless the goods are returned to us.
What personal information do you collect when I make an order and how is it used?When you place an order we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date. This information allows us to process and fulfil your orders. Your telephone number is also collected in case we need to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order. We may also use the order details to notify you occasionally about changes to the website, new services and special offers we think you may find useful. You can opt out by contacting us. We do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise pass your personal details to any third party.
How is my information protected?All transactions on this website are protected by a secure server (SSL). All personal information that you input is encrypted before being sent through the internet. Also, the UK Data Protection Legislation requires us to follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us.
What are 'cookies'?Cookies are small packets of information that are stored by your web browser onto your hard drive. We may occasionally store information about your last visit to the website, but no personal information will be stored.
